James Bowater is a secondary school teacher that has transferred his passion for Geography in the classroom to YouTube.

He has been a YouTube creator since 2016 and has an active presence across social media platforms.

He produces revision videos specific to the AQA GCSE Geography course as well as general geographical videos that appeal to a broad range of school pupils.

James has taken a lot of pride in improving the quality of videos throughout the years and is always looking to develop his style to ensure he stands out amongst the other educational creators.

The United Kingdom of YouTube was a project that shared inspirational creators from different parts of the UK.  James was asked to be included to represent the Midlands and this marketing campaign by YouTube has garnered a lot more attention.

In 2022 he was nominated for the Worcestershire Social Media awards. He was recognised for his work on YouTube and Twitter, whilst also being a finalist for the Personility of the Year award.

At the awards evening he recieved the Bronze award in all three categories.

James is also currently a contributor on the Lessonflix educational platform. This video platform was developed just for educational content and has collaborated with some of the best teachers from around the UK. Lessonflix offers well curated virtual lessons without any adverts or distractions.

He has previously worked for AQA as a GCSE examiner as well as on various projects with educational video platform Clickview and Redditch fitness brand Gymbeing.

Looking to the future, James is making ambitious plans moving forward into 2024 and will be continuing to develop his influence in the educational YouTube space.
